Dr Matthew Lakelin

Dr Matthew Lakelin is a co-founder of TrakCel. Using his knowledge in handling and distribution of CGTs he has assisted with the development of the technology platform and is passionate about democratising advanced therapies. Matthew is one of TrakCel’s industry experts who is tasked with insuring projects are delivered on time and in budget.

Matthew holds a PhD in Pharmacology and has over 20 years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Matthew has led the deployment of TrakCel’s software to a wide range of advanced therapies (including CAR-T, TILs, personalised immunotherapies, neoantigen cancer vaccines) and in his role as Head of Consultancy Services is a key spokesperson and responsible for ensuring that TrakCel solutions continue to evolve to meet industry needs.

Akshay has 11+ years experience working with CGT developers and is one of the Co-Founders of TrakCel. Akshay was previously the Head of CGT at Bluecrux, deploying the Binocs (scheduling solution) to multiple developers. He has worked with couriers, OTC, case management services, etc. to create an integrated solution for commercialization of CGT products.

John Darch joined TrakCel in 2021 from Alliance Pharmaceuticals where he was Head of Quality. John has over 20 years of experience in Quality roles in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector having worked for companies such as Norgine and Alliance in Quality management roles. ​

John is responsible for a team of quality professionals whose focus is to continually review and improve our product and processes and to assist with customer audits and regulatory approvals.

Sean has 10+ years experience managing the scoping and implementing of solutions to address specific customer requirements. He also acts as a strategic lead for commercial clients to help guide and advise on the best practices, maximizing value, and improving efficiency.

Thomas has been with TrakCel for seven years, working in customer facing technical roles. Thomas is an expert in CGT business processes, liaising with stakeholders to ensure that the solutions that are designed and implemented meet specifications and regulatory requirements.  

Adam has over 8 years experience in the pharmaceutical supply chain industry, managing oversight and direction of solutions within both clinical and commercial settings. By managing scope from solution ideation through to implementation, Adam ensures the delivery of customer value while hitting key strategic objectives.

Minal has over 10 years experience working in quality and compliance roles for pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies and adherence to a range of ISO standards including 9001, 18001, 14001 and 13485. Minal supports customer audits as well as advising our own team on audits and validation, CAPAs, change control and continuous improvement of the QMS.  As CSV Lead, Minal is key to implementing the company Validation strategy at both a base product and deployed product level.  It is this approach that allows our customers to leverage what we do to reduce the effort associated with demonstrating compliance.
