Cell & Gene Meeting on the Med 2022

TrakCel's Business Development Director, Europe, Kamar Johnson and Chief Digital Officer Dr Carl Taylor attended the Cell and Gene Meeting on the Med 2022 in Barcelona, hosted by the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine.

The event was hybrid, with in person and remote attendance, so even if schedules didn't allow for travel there was no need to miss out on the great content that was available. With over 650 attendees from the cell and gene industry and a jam-packed agenda of presentations, panels and partnering, it was certainly a busy few days.

It was a great opportunity to hear from many of the fantastic companies who are pushing the cell and gene sector forward in Europe, as well as to hear and discuss some of the common challenges that are being experienced as the sector develops. The focus on commercialization and scale up reflecting an industry that has significantly matured over recent years and how this in itself is generating a new learning curve.

The team had the opportunity to demo both our lead platform OCELLOS and our new entry level system OCELLOS Lite in some of the meetings that were held, and were excited to be able to show how even simple deployments of the system can be easily scaled up as commercialization approaches. The team were also able to gather some amazing feedback to help guide future product development and features so watch this space as our newest release, OCELLOS 3.0 is coming in July!
